TopVendor member, Lily and Wild Photography, worked together with her industry friends to create this beautiful styled session. As the name suggests, Woven Elegance is the balance between boho charm and modern elegance. This shoot focused on the use of textures, so elements of boho inspirations mixed with modern styling details, created a beautiful blend of colour, lines and textures.
More brides are opting for smaller, more intimate venues so Rooftop on Bree was the perfect choice for this shoot. Offering a contemporary, sophisticated canvas which was softened with the use of feathery pampas and the plushness of the velvet.
The floral design was a blend of soft creams, pinks, peaches with a dash of aubergine used across a combination of big dahlias, delicate lisianthus and garden roses provided the floral inspiration for this modern boho shoot.
The inclusion of dried ferns, bougainvillea and branches, not only complimented the boho theme but provided the look and feel of the textures we were after.
Muse Decor Hire provided a wonderful selection of woven mats and vases as well as a macramé arch drape for something completely different. The ombre glassware matched with the marbled pink charger plates accentuated the colours of the florals.
The mix of the little woven ottoman with the plush pink velvet seating provided the textures and colours behind the inspiration.
For make up inspiration, the theme of Woven Elegance was kept in mind. A very natural, fresh-faced look was created using soft pinks and nudes. Hair was swept up in a soft updo to give a romantic, yet elegant feel. Soft pieces of hair framed the face, ensuring an unfussed, natural look.
