I have had an amazing 13 year long career doing bridal hair & makeup after establishing The Durban Makeup Artist in 2011. I quickly made a name for myself amongst brides and my business grew mostly by word of mouth. I became known for my natural and soft-glam style of makeup, as well as the longevity that my makeup application brings. My passion for what I do shines through in every interaction with my brides & clients. And yes, the brides I work with are extremely important to me and I consider them ‘mine’.

I love making my brides feel like the most beautiful version of themselves on their special day. I gently guide them through "the experience" and love to share any knowledge on what might make their special day that much more enjoyable. Like most women I wear many hats. I am a mother to two beautiful daughters, a wife, an aesthetics therapist and a hair & makeup artist.
I own a salon in Salt Rock called Salt Skin Co. where we focus on result driven skin treatments as well as nails. This is my happy place, where I get to help my clients achieve their glowing & healthy skin goals. I have found that my skin & makeup knowledge together are the best combination to achieve skin perfection. I use an incredible brand at Salt Skin Co. called pHformula and giving my clients back their skin-confidence is my ultimate goal.
